How To Adjust A Golf Cart Carburetor?

1. Locate the carburetor. On most golf carts, the carburetor is located near the rear of the engine.

2. Remove the carburetor. Follow the instructions in the owner’s manual for removing the carburetor from the engine.

3. Adjust the idle speed. Using a flathead screwdriver, turn the idle speed screw clockwise to increase the idle speed, or counterclockwise to decrease the idle speed.

4. Adjust the idle mixture. Use a flathead screwdriver to adjust the idle mixture screw. Turn the screw clockwise to increase the amount of fuel, or counterclockwise to decrease the amount of fuel.

5. Reinstall the carburetor. Follow the instructions in the owner’s manual for reinstalling the carburetor.

6. Test the golf cart. Start the engine and test the golf cart to ensure that it is running correctly.
