The fuel line zip tie is a versatile, inexpensive option for securing and preventing leaks within a fuel line.
Fuel hose zip ties, also referred to as radius cable ties or clamp ties, feature a unique head design that provides an even, consistent compression around soft rubber hoses, including fuel, water and air vacuum lines.
The radial head allows you to secure a hose or fuel line and keep it tight all the way around with a 360° seal. Ordinary cable ties leave a small spot where the tie doesn’t make contact with the round object.
Fuel hose zip ties are used on boats, personal watercrafts (PWCs), ATVs, lawn mowers and small engines.
The bent tail allows for quick insertion into the head.
The fuel line zip tie has an operating temperature of -40°F to 257°F and a flammability rating of UL 94 V2.
These ties are made of heat stabilized polyamide 6.6 (PA66HS).
Fuel hose zip lines come in two lengths – 4” and 8” – and in natural and black. The width of both lengths is .10 inches (2.5 mm).
The tensile strength is 20 lbs. for a 4” fuel line zip tie and 60 lbs. for an 8” tie.
Fuel hose zip ties are RoHS compliant.
